    Arrive In Leh
    Overnight In: Leh (3500m )
    Accommodation: Hotel
    Meals Included: Breakfast
Cost Of Transport Included: YES ( Leh Airport to Hotel)

Upon arriving in Leh after a short flight from Delhi, check in to your guesthouse and take it easy for the day. Leh's air is dry and cold, and the sudden change in altitude can be overwhelming for your body. The flight takes you from sea level to 3,500 meters in just two hours, so proper acclimatization is essential.

    Tips for a smooth start:

    • Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water before boarding your flight and throughout the day.
    • Moisturize your nostrils: The dry air can make breathing uncomfortable. Keep a small container of Vaseline handy to gently apply inside your nostrils if needed.
    • Rest well: Minimize physical activity today. Your body needs time to adjust to the altitude.

In the evening, we’ll gather for a light snack, followed by a formal team introduction. During this session, we’ll discuss trek preparation, planning, and address any questions you may have about the upcoming adventure.

After dinner, it’s time to get a good night’s sleep. Rest is crucial to help you acclimatize and prepare for the challenges ahead.

    How to spend the day:

    • Active exploration: If you feel energetic, hike to these landmarks to boost your acclimatization. The gentle exertion helps your body adapt better.
    • Take it slow: If you’re feeling tired, take light walks around Leh town, explore its colorful markets, or enjoy window shopping. Leh has several shops offering trekking gear, so it’s a great time for any last-minute purchases.
    • Evening serenity: Visit Shanti Stupa in the evening to soak in its peaceful atmosphere and enjoy stunning views of Leh.
