Freelance Seasonal Trek Leader
Role Description: Responsible for the smooth running and handling of a trek batch. Must be confident and capable of taking care of trekkers physically (safety, well-being, comfort, participation, enjoyment) and mentally (motivation, confidence, inspiration). Requires good knowledge of trekking equipment, efficient batch arrangements, resourcefulness in managing local staff, and adherence to eco-tourism principles.
Job Terms: Hired on a batch-to-batch basis during the season. Can be a single or multiple batches, depending on bookings. More terms will be shared upon confirmation via email.
Emoluments: Includes transport and food allowances paid ex-Delhi (for North Indian treks) or ex-Kolkata (for Eastern Himalayan treks). Daily stipend of INR 1,000–3,000 for trek days, plus incentives. Accommodation and food arrangements provided. Further details will be shared upon confirmation.
Freelance Base Camp Manager
Role Description: Oversees overall arrangements and management of trek batches from the base camp. Responsibilities include arranging equipment, purchasing rations, selecting staff, organizing accommodation, coordinating logistics with the office, and ensuring smooth operations. Must be prepared to handle emergencies and support eco-tourism efforts alongside trek leaders.

Business Developer
Role Description: Utilizes personal networks to generate business for Himalayan High by arranging trek groups. Groups may follow Himalayan High’s itineraries or be customized, including student excursions, corporate activities, or Himalayan projects.
Job Terms: Not bound by specific terms except Himalayan High’s ethics and values towards the mountains and its people.

Web Content Manager
Role Description: Manages and adds relevant content to the website and social media, including social media management tasks.
Job Terms: Work-from-home role, preferably but not restricted to female candidates. Offers flexible hours in a flexible work environment, though the work is year-round.
