Relax after booking the gears online and put your mind and energy towards preparation for the trek. Come to our office in the base location, show your booking invoice and collect your gear. 

We deal with places that are geographically very remote and are almost in the corners of our Country. Most of these locations do not even have proper mobile network connectivity like Sankri for example. Forget about the internet connection. Our booking system automatically manages the availability of equipment in the trek bases through proper algorithms and set SOPs and backups. Offline booking would fail our online booking system and create availability errors.

To solve that problem we have come up with this solution. All of the gear available on our website are mandatorily required to be booked online and are available on First Book, First Serve basis. Once you book the gears, they are locked and cannot be rented for that window. After booking they can be collected at our office in the base locations. This is the reason, we have never missed a single delivery in the span of the last 5 years that we are serving the trek bases. We have so far served over 15000+ trekkers without failing.

We have started supporting a few locations now and will soon all the locations. We support trek bases like Sankri, Maneybhanjyang, Leh, Gangotri, Joshimath, Kathmandu, Kaza, Lohajung, Loharkhet, Manali, Munsiari, Shimla, Rohru, Uttarkashi, Yuksom, etc.  

From these locations, we provide renting of camping equipment like tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mats etc along with all other specialized gears like - lightweight alpine stoves, butane gas canisters, Kitchen Tents, Toilet Tents, Gaiters, mini crampons or microspikes, climbing crampons, ponchos, etc. Safety gears like Oxygen Cylinders, Pulse Oxymeters, Wireless sets, Stretchers too are essential. Now you can even hire local resources from us like Trek Guide, Cook, Porter, Mules etc. On most of the treks in the Indian Himalayas, hiring of a Local registered Trek Guide is made mandatorily. Even for popular treks like Kedarkantha, Har Ki Dun, Sandakphu Phalut, Stok Kangri, etc. Permits are not issued by the Forest Officials if the team is not accompanied by a registered local guide. It is important as well, as many unfortunate incidences have happened in the treks when not accompanied by a good guide with sound knowledge of the region and the sport. We at Himalayan High have made it possible to hire a local registered guide, porters, cooks and even mules as applicable from our Online Equipment Rental Portal.

1. Answer by clicking YES or NO for the question if you have booked your trek with us or some other company.
2. If you have booked your trek with Himalayan High, click YES to the first question after which you need to enter your Invoice ID and select the appropriate Batch. The remaining details will be prefilled.
3. If you have booked with some other company, then click NO and enter your details like Name, Email, From Date, To Date, Location, etc.
4. Click Next, after which all available items as per the selected location will be listed on the next page. Do note that cost will automatically apply discounts based upon the number of rented days. More the rent duration, lower the cost.
5. On The Next Page, select the required items and then proceed to book the required gears.
6. Be careful about the size based items. For size-based items, selecting the item and their size is mandatory. Also, book your correct size.
7. After selecting all the required gears and clicking on NEXT, the estimate table will be shown which will mention the total rent and refundable security deposit amount in form of a chart.
8. After confirmation, the system will move to the payment page and only the rent amount will be collected online.
9. On successful payment of the rent amount, a confirmation email with the invoice will be sent to the provided email id.
10. The invoice will contain all the rented gears, local address, contact details and GSP location.
11. That's it, your gears will be booked and ready for you to be picked up from the base location.
